I'm just about to start a year abroad in the Democratic Republic of Congo. It's as part of my degree, BSc International Development with French. I'm from London, well Chalfont St. Peter, south Bucks, a little different to Lubumbashi in Congo,

I've just had my second interview for going to Congo, and have just gone to Gloucester for my cross-cultural mission training. I'm really excited and am looking forward to understanding a little more about CMS (Church Missionary Society). In Congo, I'll be working with the Diocese of Katanga, working in both the youth and schools work with Jean-Bosco. Furthermore, I'll be working with the Congolese community worker, involved in micro-finance projects.
